The Beauty of Thailand - Shiseido Travel and Retail

Shiseido wanted to expand their reach into China, and they picked out a particular demographic and location to do so: Chinese tourists at the Bangkok airport.

We created a fully integrated campaign for them that combined video content, influencers, artists, social media, digital and POSM. It had the effect they wanted: sales went up by 45% year on year after our campaign.

 

Launch Film

We got our Chinese influencer Magic Yang to meet Thai artist Riety to collaborate on the artwork that would eventually be used throughout our campaign. We chronicled their travels in this launch film which was shared on Magic's Weibo, eventually garnering nearly a million views.

Riety's Illustrations

After their shared experience, Riety illustrated a series of beautiful artwork, which we then used on our digital collaterals, POSM and BTL giveaways.

Point-of-sale Materials

These POSM were used at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport to capture tourist's attention.

Digital

The collaboration extended to the digital space as well, where we used, the film and art to create a site, both for the web and Wechat.

Photo Gallery

At the airport, customers could take their own picture with Riety's artwork as a photo frame to share on social media. These pictures were collected on the site for others to view.
